Chad German of Hill College was the only contestant to ride all four of his bulls this week, winning a national championship in the process.

Last up, German covered Babe for 74.5 points. With the crowd going wild, German dismounted the bull, grabbed his cowboy hat and flung it at the animal.

German finished with 292.5 points for the week.

Laramie County CC's Justin Thomas leaped from sixth to second in the nation with a 75.5-point ride on Dress Code. That gave him 218 points on three qualified rides this week.

The College of Southern Idaho's Tag Elliott entered the short go second overall but failed to reach the 8-second buzzer. He wound up with 208 points on three qualified rides.

South Dakota State's Andrew Coughlin won the short go with 84 points on Triple V Rodeo's bull named Q.
